In anticipation of the First Friday event that was scheduled for tonight, the Warsaw Flying Club taxied its Cessna 152 from the Warsaw Municipal Airport to downtown Warsaw this morning. The plane was brought down SR 15 at about 3 a.m. and is now parked at the corner of Lake and Main streets.

The plane was going to be on display for the festivities this evening, and attendees would have been invited to enter for a chance to win a Discovery Flight. Now, everyone will have to wait until next week.

Tonight’s events have been postponed until next week due to the inclement weather.

The Warsaw Flying Club is also asking the public to “like” their Facebook page and post of photo of yourself with the plane to be entered for a chance to win the Discovery Flight (a $120 value).

The Warsaw Flying Club will return the airplane to the Warsaw Municipal Airport at 3 a.m. tomorrow morning.
