Tippecanoe Valley Sports Wrap – Sept. 1
The Tippecanoe Valley volleyball team went 0-2 in the Warsaw Spiker Invitational on Saturday.
The host Tigers topped the Vikings 25-14, 25-17, 25-16 and South Bend Clay outlasted Valley 25-14, 26-24, 25-27, 15-25, 15-13.
Caylie Teel and Kelsey Ball led the Valley offensive attack on the day with 15 and 13 kills respectively. Sara Alexander and Jade Hoffman each had six kills.
Lauren Early led the defense for the Vikings with 18 digs. Teel had 17 and Ball and Tenaya Shull each had a dozen. Ball, Teel and Alexander each had three blocks in the tourney.
Setters Shull and Kelsey Eckert each had 21 assists. Early led the serving with three aces, while Ball, Shull and Connor Fraser each had two.
