Home Invasion Suspects Sought In Goshen
Elkhart County authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects involved in a home invasion in Goshen.
It happened at 3:04 p.m. Thursday at 19297 CR 20, Goshen. The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department says
Today at approximately 3:04 p.m., ECSD deputies were called after two men broke into a residence and assaulted the resident of the home. Police say John Huston, 26, confronted one of the suspects who was armed with a machete type weapon.
Huston struggled with the suspect and received a small laceration to his hand. After chasing the man from the residence, Huston observed him join with another suspect as they ran to a nearby vehicle and fled the scene.
The suspects are both described as white men in their early 20s and were both wearing white T-shirts. The victim says the men had a small white pickup truck parked across the street at Pleasant View Mennonite Church and left southbound on CR 23.
