WCHS senior Ashley Erba was honored at halftime Friday night at Fisher Field for winning the state championship in the 3,200-meter run in June.
Warsaw Community High School honored long distance standout Ashley Erba Friday night during halftime of the Tigers’ home football game with Homestead.
Erba was saluted for winning the state championship in the 3,200-meter run at the IHSAA State Finals in Bloomington in June.
Erba, a senior, also won the New Balance Outdoor National Championship in the 5,000-meter run in June. She is also the defending state champion in cross country.
