Paramedics and fire fighters were called to a motorcycle crash on Armstrong Road at about 1:40 p.m. Sunday.
According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department accident report, Leo M. Tanner, 66, of Elkhart, was driving through the S-curves of the road just east of Oswego when he drove off the side of the road and lost control on the embankment. Tanner was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained internal injuries and a broken arm.
Tanner was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne by Samaritan Air ambulance.
Assisting on scene were Multi-Township EMS and the Leesburg Fire Department.
