- Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2:08 p.m. At the intersection of US30 East and Springhill Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Douglas Gallaspie, 49, 0460 TWP RD 130, Harrod, OH, and Bert Bodnar, 50, Elgin St. W. Box 82, Norwich, ON. Gallaspie collided with the back of Bodnar’s vehicle at the traffic light. Damages: up to $5,000.
- Thursday, Aug. 9, 5:23 p.m. At the intersection of CR350 North and Shelden Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Lois Mallory, 75, 209 Heide Ln, Milford, and Kayla Stutzman, 23, 8349 N 800 W, Etna Green. Mallory collided with Stutzman’s vehicle at the intersection. Damages: up to $5,000.
- Thursday, Aug. 9, 11:42 p.m. At the intersection of SR15 South and Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: John Petro, Jr, 34, 702 E Smith St, Warsaw, and Jason Brandyberry, 29, 2705 S Huffman St, Winona Lake. Petro struck the back of Brandyberry’s vehicle and then left the scene of the accident. He was followed by a witness, who then contacted police. Petro was taken to KCH for an alcohol test, results are pending. Damages: up to $10,000.

The following incidents were recently investigated by the Warsaw Police Department:
- Wednesday, Aug. 8, 11:26 p.m. A Warsaw area business reported that a male subject represented himself as a law enforcement officer and had a German Shepherd. A warrant has been requested for Ryan Dean Winter.
- Thursday, Aug. 9, between the hours of 11:47 p.m. and 1:08 a.m. John William Petro Jr., Warsaw, was arrested for OWI and leaving the scene of an accident.
- Thursday, Aug. 9, 9:18 p.m. Warsaw. A possible battery/strangulation was reported.
- Thursday, Aug. 9, 9:22 p.m. Warsaw. A battery was reported.
- Thursday, Aug. 9, 7:19 p.m. Warsaw. Possible debit card fraud was reported.
- Thursday, Aug. 9, between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 2:10 a.m. Damage was reported to a vehicle in Winona Lake.
- Thursday, Aug. 9, between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Warsaw. An Indiana drivers license was reported lost.
- Thursday, Aug. 9, 7:26 a.m. A bike was found near the garbage cans of a Warsaw area business.
- Thursday, Aug. 9, between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Warsaw. A vehicle was vandalized over night on Market Street.
