Park Pill Sales Leads to Arrest
Warsaw Police arrested Jody Lea Guiff O’Brien, 44, for dealing in a controlled substance at a Warsaw park on Monday, Aug. 6. A warrant was issued for O’Brien after undercover officers purchased Morphine pills from her at Central Park in Warsaw.
O’Brien was taken into custody at 418 S. High St., in Atwood, without incident. She was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a $50,000 surety bond for dealing in a Schedule I, II, or III controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a public park, a class A felony.
Warsaw Police are working to make its parks safe and enjoyable for families and will continue to combat criminal activity in Warsaw City Parks.
