Historic Register Honorees to be Recognized
Indiana properties that have been placed on the State and National historic registers since April 2011 will be honored by DNR Division of Historic Preservation & Archaeology on Aug. 9, Hoosier Heritage Day, at the Indiana State Fair.
The ceremony will take place at the DNR Amphitheater, an outdoor facility on the fairgrounds adjacent to the Natural Resources Building, at 1 p.m.
Properties in the following locales will be recognized: Argos and vicinity, Batesville, Brownstown, Chesterton vicinity, Elkhart, Evansville, Gary, Greenfield, Hammond, Indianapolis, Knightstown vicinity, LaPorte vicinity, Lawrence, Lebanon, Martinsville vicinity, Medora vicinity, Monterey, Muncie, Peru vicinity, Plymouth and vicinity, Rensselaer, Richmond, Shelbyville, West Lafayette and Zionsville.
