Clouses Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary
Tony and Connie (Smith) Clouse, Goshen, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this month.
They were married Aug. 11, 1962, by the Rev. Wilbur Workman at the E.U.B. Church in Albion.
They celebrated with a family dinner on July 24.
Their children include Carla (Mark) Plavchak and Amy (Blake) Luebbehusen, all of Goshen. They have four grandchildren: Emily Plavchak, J.T. Plavchak, Evan Luebbehusen and Jacob Luebbehusen.
Tony retired from teaching in 1999. He taught social studies for 39 years, drivers education for 29 years and coached various sports. His career began at Central Noble in Albion and concluded at Wawasee Community Schools, Syracuse. Connie retired in 2005 after having worked at Farm Bureau Insurance and Syracuse Printing.
