Joyce Rowe
Joyce Rowe, 52, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 30, 2012, 10:25 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
On Nov 23, 1959, Joyce was born to Lloyd D. and Edith (Owens) Minnix in Columbia City, Ind. She lived most of her life here in Kosciusko County. On July 5, 2008, she married Arlie A. Rowe in North Webster, Ind., he survives. Joyce enjoyed being a homemaker, working at RR Donnelly and Sons for eight years, and OMCO Midwest Roll Form of Pierceton and Columbia City for two years.
Joyce was a member and affiliated with the American Legion Auxiliary of Pierceton for 21 years, the American Legion Riders and ABATE.
Joyce is survived by her husband: Arlie A. Rowe, Silver Lake, Ind.; and a son: James Kessler, Tucker, Ark.; a step-son: Cody A. Rowe, Silver Lake; a brother: David Minnix, Warsaw, Ind.; two sisters: Barbara Farmer, Pierceton, Ind.; and Linda (Craig) Slone, Sidney, Ind.
Joyce was preceded in death by her Mother and Father and one brother.
Funeral services for Joyce will be held at at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, in Pierceton.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at the Funeral Chapel in Pierceton. Pastor William Whitaker and Pastor Chad Burkhart will be officiating the service. Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery in Claypool, Ind.
Family has asked for memorials to be made out to the Joyce E. Rowe Funeral Fund c/o McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapel.
