North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident and incidents.
Accident
- Sunday, July 22, 12:42 a.m. SR 13. A vehicle driven by Heather A. Peyatt, 24th Avenue, Kenosha, Wisc., was driving north when two dogs ran in front of the vehicle. She attempted to brake but was unable to avoid hitting at least one of the dogs. There was damage to the front of the vehicle. No amount given.
Incidents
- Sunday, July 22, 10:11 p.m. EMS W 30A Lane. A juvenile was bitten by a dog. It was found and returned to its owners where it will be quarantined for 10 days. A copy of the report will be forwarded to Kosciusko County Animal Control.
- Saturday, July 21, 10:34 a.m. EMS B 40F Lane, Leesburg. Jan Biehl reported that someone opened a credit card account with her personal information without her knowledge.
- Wednesday, July 18, 9:53 p.m. Epworth Forest Road. Officer observed and stopped a vehicle with no license lane. Owner advised the plate was lost.
