Winners of Golf Outing Announced
The 2012 Coats for Kids Community Outreach Golf Outing was held at Stonehenge Golf Club this year and the winning teams have been announced.
First place went to Legacy Homes represented by Allen Delagrange, Larry Waybright, Duane Waybright and Mike Waybright. Second place was the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department represented by Sheriff Rocky Goshert, Captain Aaron Rovenstine, Taylor Goshert and Caleb Rovenstine.
The Gold Brick Award went to Kyle Wurtzel, Tim Wurtzel, Dave Hensler and Shane Norris.
Longest Putt Hole #1 winner was Dan Robinson. Marshmallow Drive – Women’s winner was Beckie Moore and Marshmallow Drive – Men’s winner was Wendell Miller.
Longest Putt Hole #13 winner was Ethan Rhoades; Closest to Pin winner was Larry Waybright; Longest Drive – Men winner was Steve Conrad; and Longest Drive – Women winner was Taylor Goshert.
With the proceeds from this outing, the Builders Association of Kosciusko-Fulton Counties will be able to once again purchase new coats for elementary school children in Kosciusko and Fulton counties. Since this project began in 1996, over 4,800 coats at a cost of over $104,500 have been purchased and distributed thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the Builders Association members and community members.
According to Joni Truex, executive officer of the BAKFC, planning has already begun for the 2013 Coats for Kids Community Outreach Golf Outing to be held in June 2013.
