Warsaw Police News
Warsaw Police recently investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests:
- Monday, June 25. Touch of Life Church, Warsaw, is selling fireworks in the Walmart parking lot and reportedly received a bad check for fireworks. The total was $1,002.50
- Monday, June 25. Deborah Brooke Grindle, 25, Rochester, and Kyle Lee Davison, 23, 1804 Westside Rd., Rochester, were arrested at Walmart for possession of a mobile meth lab on a moped.
- Monday, June 25. Thomas Burnworth of Leesburg reported the theft of several items from Scearce Rudisel Architects offices. Those items, totaling over $1,200, included a digital wireless transmitter, headphones, cameras, a laptop computer and CDs.
- Monday, June 25. Becky Bailey of the Warsaw Parks Department reported the theft of toilet paper.
- Monday, June 25. Gerardo Montes-Bernal, 22, 2441 W. 250 S., Warsaw, was arrested for drunk driving and fleeing law enforcement.
- Sunday, Jun 24, 9:40 a.m. Calen Arthur Gardiner, 25, 13410 Stowe Dr., Grabill, was arrested for drunk driving.
- Sunday, June 24. Ramon Rodriguez-Mastrapa, Chicago, Ill., reported a basement window on a home on Bluewater Drive, Warsaw, had been broken out. Clothes in the basement area had been moved around.
- Sunday, June 24, 6:13 p.m. Don Bell of Bourbon reported two suspicious males video recording children at Pike Lake Park. An officer spoke with the suspects who denied video taping.
- Sunday, June 24. Jorge Alberto Diaz, Warsaw, reported a hit-skip. Damage: up to $500
- Saturday, June 23, 1:01 p.m. Stacy Shepherd, Pierceton, reported problems with her soon to be ex-husband at Owens east in the check out line.
- Saturday, June 23. Tara Roberts of Warsaw reported a domestic battery.
- Saturday, June 23, 6:20 p.m. Sherman Herald Gillum Jr., 33, 3762 W. Old Rd. 30 Lot 678, Warsaw, was arrested after police received a complaint that a wanted person was at an address on East Market Street.
- Saturday, June 23. Virgil Roy Dordon, 47, 701 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, was arrested for being intoxicated behind the Economy Inn, Warsaw.
- Saturday, June 23, 2 p.m. LeAnn Harris, Warsaw, reported her purse was taken from her vehicle while she was in Wilby’s gas station.
- Saturday, June 23, Lalit Patel of the Economy Inn, 3521 Lake City Highway, Warsaw, reported a fight in progress. Both parties involved gave conflicting reports of the incident and neither wanted to file charges. Missy Jo Whitaker, 27, who resides at the motel, was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment of injuries.
- Saturday, June 23. A manager at Hacienda reportedly received a counterfeit $10 bill.
