Paul J. Ulrey
Paul J. Ulrey, 89, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 8:40 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born May 3, 1923, in Sidney, Ind., to Alpheus and Cora (Ross) Ulrey. He married Patricia Deane Loe on Oct. 25, 1958, in South Whitley, Ind. He was a Product Planning Supervisor at R.R. Donnelley and retired in 1985 with 23 years of service.
Mr. Ulrey loved putting together model airplanes and cars, and jigsaw and crossword puzzles. He enjoyed going to auto shows, was an avid reader and totally remodeled his home.
He is survived by two sons: Harold “Hal” (Diane) Scott, Etna Green, Ind.; Paul James “Jim” Ulrey, II, Warsaw; six daughters: Jo Anne Jarrett, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Cindy Sue Fisher, Bremen, Ind.; Sharon Lee Sowers, Fishers, Ind.; Deborah Kay (Kerry) Ducker, Bloomington, Ind.; Ruth Ellen (Robert) Voreis, Claypool, Ind.; Linda Lou (Michael) Getz, Warsaw; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia D. Ulrey; a daughter-in-law; two sons-in-law; five sisters and a brother.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be at Ulrey Memorial Cemetery, Silver Lake.
