WCPL Welcomes Traveling Art Exhibit
The brainchild of a mother-daughter team, Dianna Williams and Christi Ziebarth, it shows the ripple effect of inspiration that travels contagiously from one person to another.
Sixth graders of nine local schools tie-dyed material swatches which were used by artist, Dianna Williams, to design and create the panels of the art-quilt. Every square inch is uniquely crafted in an “extreme sampler” array of master-seamstress techniques: trapunto, free-motion, embroidery, thread-sketching, applique, fringing, fraying, beadwork, and novel embellishments.
