Kosciusko County Incidents
The following incidents were investigated by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department:
- May 28, 11 a.m. at a location on West 500 South, Mentone. A male and female were reportedly arguing over a cell phone.
- May 25, 12:22 a.m. in front of 3955 E. 100 S., Pierceton. Officers and paramedics were called to the above address for a subject in seizures. Officers discovered a male subject had been involved in a motorcycle accident. There was a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage present.
- May 11, between 5 p.m. and 3 a.m. at Pie Eyed Petey’s parking lot. Cory Moneyheffer, Warsaw, reports the back window of his vehicle had been broken out.
- May 15, field on CR 1200 N, Nappanee. Brent Reed reported a vehicle had done doughnuts in the cornfield causing damages.
- June 3, North East Wawasee Drive. A Cromwell woman reported finding drugs in her 15-year-old son’s bag.
- June 1, South Packerton Road. A complainant reported his neighbor shooting BBs at his trailer again.
- May 28. A North Manchester man reported the fraudulent use of his father’s Sears credit card.
- May 20, 9600 block of South County Farm Road. Two brothers were reportedly arguing and one pushed another.
- June 3, 10:54 p.m. A suicide attempt was reported at a residence on CR 300 East, Syracuse.
- June 4, 9500 block of South SR 13, Claypool. A family dog was reportedly hit and killed and they believe it may have been intentional by an individual whose name was provided to police.
- May 30, 12:10 a.m. Amber Bromley of Silver Lake reported her home had been egged and something had been burned on the porch.
- May 21, EMS D7 Lane. A woman reported a male subject was wanting to take pictures of his neighbor’s girls.
- June 1, 8:39 p.m. An underage drinking party was located. Approximately 50 subjects fled into an orchard and adjacent field. The Kosciusko County Prosecutor is reviewing charges of maintaing a common nuisance to the property owner. Several juveniles were arrested.
- May 23, 10:20 p.m. A fight between two women was reported in Warsaw. Charges are pending against both women.
- June 3, Levi Lee Road. An officer was called to a complaint that a known sex offender had been talking to and touched two juvenile females.
