Farmers Market Grand Opening is Saturday
The Kosciusko County Farmers Market LLC will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday in downtown Warsaw.
The farmers market is held from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday in the Center Street block between Buffalo and Lake streets. This week, a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m.
Vendors are welcome to be part of the farmers market, but are required to become members of the Kosciusko County Farmers Market LLC. KCFM President Kegan Burns says a member application and $5 annual fee is required. Each time a vendor sets up to sell goods, there is a minimal $3 fee. The purpose of the fees is to assure that members are honoring the city’s rules and regulations that produce – be it fruits, vegetables, plants, flowers, etc. – are grown in Kosciusko County and that even craft items are made by local residents.
