She was born March 26, 1922, in Garrett, Ind., to Paul and Rosina “Rose” Muzzillo (DeRose). On June 17, 1944, in Garrett she married Charles E Whitcraft Sr. who died on May 14, 2007.
Formally of Wabash, Ind., she retired to North Fort Myers, Fla., in 1987 and moved to Grace Village in June 2008. She enjoyed cooking, golfing and playing cards. She worked in the private and public schools as a cook in Wabash.
Surviving are two children: Charles (Deborah) Whitcraft Jr., Warsaw; and Rosie Whitcraft, Arlington Va.; grandchildren: Jon (Claudia) Whitcraft, Lebanon, Ind.; Miranda Corl, Indianapolis, Ind.; and two great-grandsons: Dylan and Dominic; two brothers: Norbert Muzzillo, Avilla, Ind.; and Bernard Muzzillo, Winona, Lake.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, on Wednesday, May 30, at 11 a.m., officiated by Fr. Phil DeVolder. Rosary and calling is at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
