He was born on May 18, 1950 in Elkhart, Ind., to Doris Blosser. He attended Wakarusa High School and was married on Aug. 14, 1987, in Eden, OH, to Jacqueline R. “Jackie” Hoover. He moved to Syracuse in 1971 from Bremen and was formerly employed at Sweet Lix in Syracuse and Seller’s Manufacturing in Milford.
Mr. Blosser is survived by his wife: Jackie Blosser, Syracuse; a daughter: Anna (Edwin) Olivencia, Bronson, Fla.; two sons: Denny Dean (Tara) Blosser, Omaha, Neb., and Raymond Blosser, Warsaw; five grandchildren; four sisters: Dawn (Brian) Allan, Cromwell; Pat Watkins, Etna Green; Sandy (Gene) Hombs, Trevor, Wisc.; Kristine Kehr, Florida; and a brother: Max (Connie) Byrket, Cromwell.
He was preceded in death by his mother; two sisters: Lois Berry and Betty Studebaker; and four brothers: Paul, Jerry, Max and Bill Blosser.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, May 21, at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating.
Memorial bequest may be given to the Dennis Blosser Funeral fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
